# Connecting Facebook and Instagram

To connect Facebook and Instagram, follow these steps:

Recommendation before you start: Perform the page validation in Incognito mode in your browser, with ad blockers (AdBlock and others) disabled, to avoid errors during the connection process.

### 1. Go to the link: 🔗 [https://meta.register.novatalks.ai/](https://meta.register.novatalks.ai/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

At the bottom, select which messengers you plan to link — this can be Facebook or Facebook + Instagram.

Click the **“Install Meta App on Your Page”** button.

### 2. Page validation procedure.

#### 🔹 Step 1 — Selecting Facebook pages

Choose the Facebook pages to which the Nova.ChatsConnector app will have access. You can:

* Allow access to all current and future pages — in this case, access will automatically be granted to all existing pages as well as those you create in the future.
* Select specific pages to grant access to.

We recommend choosing the first option for uninterrupted integration and to avoid additional settings in the future. This applies to all subsequent steps as well.

#### 🔹 Step 2 — Selecting the company

Choose the companies to which the Nova.ChatsConnector app will have access.

#### 🔹 Step 3 — Selecting the Instagram page

Choose the Instagram accounts to which the Nova.ChatsConnector app will have access.

#### 🔹 Step 4 — Granting the necessary permissions for pages

At this step, you need to grant all the required permissions for the Nova.ChatsConnector app to function properly.

### 3. After completion, send the corresponding data to the support group for page connection:

* page\_long\_lived\_token
* page\_name (page name)
* page\_id

#### 🔄 Re-validation of the page

If you need to add new pages for connection, but the validation was done without granting permissions for all current and future pages, you will need to re-validate the app to add the new pages. First, you must remove the previous integration.

#### 🗑️ Steps to remove the integration:

1. Go to your Facebook profile settings.
2. Open the “Business Integrations” section.
3. Find the Nova.ChatsConnector app in the list of connected apps.
4. Click “Remove”.

✅ After this, repeat all the validation steps described above.
