# Connecting IP telephony

To set up telephony in NovaTalks, you need to connect IP telephony - a virtual multi-line phone number.

**Step-by-step instructions:**

1. **Contact your telecommunication service provider and order a virtual multichannel number that will allow you to receive multiple calls simultaneously.** The request should look like this: ‘I need a virtual multichannel phone number with x voice sessions’.

   Choose a provider that offers IP telephony services in your market. The most popular providers in Ukraine include Lifecell, Kyivstar, Ukrtelecom, Vega or others of your choice. An example of a tariff for 5 operators is shown in the table below (click on the link in the header to see all available tariffs):

2. **Get the connection parameters.** After ordering, the provider will provide a login, password and port settings for connecting IP telephony.
3. **Send the data to our technical support team.**

   Send this information to our support team. We will connect the number to our program.

Also, if you want a number that your customers can call toll-free from any network in Ukraine, you can connect the 0-800 service from your provider.
